Five Levels of Hindi
The Vidya Vikas Hindi program is more than eight years old. It started with a handful of students and is now home to more than 150 students. The emphasis of Hindi classes at the temple is reading, writing, speaking and understanding Hindi. The students are split into five levels.
We also offer conversation classes where the emphasis is only on speaking and understanding Hindi.

Teacher Aide
We have volunteering opportunities for graduating Hindi students. Teachers' aides help students with reading, writing, homework, games, and other activities. The philosophy behind this is that this provides an opportunity for the students -
1. To be exposed to Hindi after they graduate
2. To be involved in community service type of activity
3. To learn leadership skills

Annual Hindi Function
Every year we conclude the Hindi classes with an end-of-year function. The goal of this function is -
1. To learn Hindi while participating in a cultural activity
2. To showcase what students have learnt throughout the year
3. To learn to be comfortable in front of an audience
